What would you do if someone asked you for CHF 3'699 for a kick-ass flat screen TV / PC and this is what they use as the advertising / recommendation?
Personally, I can't imagine what the benefit would be of shelling out all that cash when I can just go to the local second hand store and pick up something that displays this screen for about $20 bucks!
Needless to say, when I saw this on the screen at the local store, I simply had to take a pic. I guess it is all part of my "Windows is shit, want me to convert your PC to Linux" campaign.
So, do you want me to?

Your desktop is pretty... Good luck on your campaign - unfortunately I won't be joining you as I now use Mac OS and frankly, I've never been happier! :)
I know. It's great when they're trying to convince you to buy it and it screws the pooch like that.
What shits me though is that they have all these PCs switched on in the shop for you to look at but they're always locked. How will you know if you like Vista? You can't check to see what it's like.
Anyway, I know that you are using OSX and I'm happy for you. I am unable to afford a Mac so I have made do with Linux. It seems to be going really nicely. It is very stable and doesn't slow down the way XP does after a few months.
Having said that, it's not all plain sailing - it takes time to learn how to drive it and set things up the way you want. I've been using it for almost 18months and I'm surprised at how much it has matured even in that short time.
